Little Pigwidgeon

I'm currently listening to Goblet of Fire and am enjoying reading about Pigwidgeon. So when I ran across this pattern (scroll down about halfway), I put all my other projects aside and quickly made up my own version of the little owl.

I love him!
(My closet 70s owl obsession demands I make one for myself!)

He was really fun to make - and he turned out just too cute. Now I'm thinking that maybe I would like to make a Hedwig - from some fuzzy white yarn. But, of course, Hedwig would need to be bigger, so I'm not sure if I would use the same pattern.

I'm thinking that maybe I will need to make the companion animals for the next contest. So that would mean Crookshanks and Neville's frog as well.

It's too cute. Worth learning how to crochet to make!

I too was thinking of Crookshanks (but as I have a real life one) a stuffed one might be stressful. Pig is adorable. Snowy owls might be a tad bit more difficult. I will try to post where I saw the toad/frog pattern.
