Looking for shawl pattern
I am considering knitting a Bobaton shawl and coordinating beret (spelling is wrong, and it is to late to search my book for correct spelling sorry.) I found the perfect beret pattern, but am at a loss for the shawl. I want it to be French, but not to lacy. Something elegant but not. If someone knows what I am thinking- because obviously I don't! Please post a comment.

Clapotis at Knitty is very french and just has dropped stitches. Otherwise how about Sarcelle from Knitter's Anonymous?
