Reminds me of a Niffler too. Weren't they supposed to look like hedgehogs, those creatures Hagrid let the kids use to find the gold coins in GoF?
This is just too cute . . and thanks for posting a pic -- I just ordered this pattern and hope to knit one up sometime in the near future. What did you think of the pattern? Easy? Hard? Any tips/hints?

Sal is fabulous. I've also knit up the pattern. I'd say it is well written. It's a good intro to short rows.
