Contest Update!

As posted under the Contest rules, I wanted to remind everyone:
The first contest will be from Feb to April. All projects from these first three books should be submitted by Monday April 2nd, and the winner will be announced the following Friday, April 6th.

If you have a submission, please post about it (again if you've already posted once) the week of March 26th to April 2nd. In the post, please include a picture and a description of what you knit/crocheted and why you made it. Only finished projects need apply ;-) (you still have time to compete; there's Contest Part Two in July!).

A question to the KAL- would you like to vote on it? If so I would ask you to email me (Em) at knitter.natter@yahoo.com after April 2nd, so you can consider all options. These votes would not be released and, while I think they would be a BIG help, they would not be the final factor determining the winner. So I leave this up to all our lovely members, if you'd like to participate. We'll make a decision to voting based on comments.

I'll be sending the contest prize the week of April 9th and it will, more than likely, be determined by what your house you're in. I'll say no more now...

You're all keeping up beautifully! I can't believe how much more fun it is to read the books and knit the projects when there's a forum to discuss it! Thank you for participating so enthusiastically!

great idea, girl. voting would be nice I think, so long as it was anon. I am very excited to see what you give out as prizes, you are very cryptic :)

We can vote or not. Whatever.

I think if I were in your position that some other opinions might help. There are so many ways to look at this and so many criteria you could apply.

But I think if anybody completes Molly's sweater with the sleeves, they'd have to really mess it up not to get first prize.

How could a scarf or hat compare to that?

You could do a poll and that would be anon. I am up for voting.

Also, I think Jo has a good point, scarves would definitely be underated compared to a Molly Sweater. So, that opens up some questions.

I think open/anon voting could be good. There would need to be strict voting guidelines to adhere to. Also if I finish my project, I would decline to vote.
