Felted Wizard Hat

I have searched and cannot find this pattern available. I do not want to infringe on copyright or anything...if anyone has suggestions. I can photo it and place a link to.......
It is titled Felted Spiral Wizard Hat by Valerie Calley 2002, takes 250 yds bulky wool, size 10.5 or 11 dpn and 16-20 inch circular.

I don't know what Valerie's hat looks like, but have you seen this one?

That URL takes me to something called search portal with a bazillion buttons to choose what kind of ads I'd like to look at. There are no buttons for knitting or even crafts.

Since Vicki Howell hosts Knitty Gritty on DIY, are you trying to direct us to a photo the wizards hat in her book, New Knits on the Block?

If you can see the photo on the screen, you should be able to copy it to your computer and upload it so we can see it. This should be OK if you include the information about where to buy it.

Copyright law basically prevents you from doing something that will keep the author from collecting royalties.

If you publish the photo and the pattern, that's illegal. If you publish the photo and the name of the book/where to buy the directions, that's OK.

Here's the URL to a page that shows the wizards' hat from Vicki's book.

See my comment on wizards hats earlier.

This hat doesn't have a brim, though.

Oops, sorry,
Well, if you go to www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/ and then scroll down to "Magic Hats" then maybe that will work. I don't know if it is in her book or not.

Wow! That's great! It not only gets a photo of the hat, but the instructions!

I'm pretty certain that it is the same hat that's in the book.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
